Today’s podcast is an assortment of articles I have collected over the past few months that I feel I need to address. I will be out of town for the next ten days, but I will return as soon as possible.
Technology exhausts and rewires your brain, researches now say, but this was known long before TV, the iPhone and the Blackberry came on the scene. Just read Zbigniew Brzezinski’s, The Technetronic Era. Genetically modified salmon may be heading to a grocery store near you, but I think they’re already here, considering the increase in “wild” salmon and trout miraculously appearing in the rivers of Great Britain. But even if you skip the salmon dinner and decide to tune out this technological world and relax, the explosion of bedbugs in the U.S. and Britain won’t allow you much peace. Like bacteria to antibiotics, the little bloodsuckers have become immune to most pesticides, but no one can agree why.
